Innomaint’s Low-Code Solutions that Streamline and Step Up the Security of Common Workflows
We developed and launched the following low code solutions based on the custom requirements of clients.
GatePass workflow:
The digital gatepass workflow automation software was developed as an effective replacement for the manual material management system which was associated with shortcomings such as inconsistent data references, insufficient visibility into material movements, and poor inter-departmental collaboration.
The solution records all asset movements in and out of the business premises in cloud servers for report generation and analysis at a later stage.

Automation helps by maintaining a unique number for returnable(RGP) or non-returnable gate passes (NRGP). It is a multi-level role-based approval system. We have worked out a serial approval workflow system wherein the sequence of approvals is as follows:
Level 1: Manager Approval
The gate pass request from an employee is sent to the manager for approval. Manager can perform any of the below actions:
- Approve the request.
- Reject the request (leading to cancellation).
- Request additional information from the employee who initiated the Gatepass request.
Level 2: Purchase Team Approval
Once the manager approves, the application forwards the request to the purchase team for approval as the next step in the sequence.
The purchase team can perform any of the below actions:
- Approve the request.
- Reject the request (leading to cancellation).
- Request additional information from the employee who initiated the Gatepass request.
Level 3: Store Incharge Approval:
After the second level of approval by the purchase team, the application transfers the request to the store in charge for the final approval.
The store in charge can perform any of the below actions:
- Approve the request.
- Reject the request (leading to cancellation).
- Request additional information from the employee who initiated the Gatepass request.

If the Gatepass request is returned to the initiator of the request seeking additional information, the requester enters the information online and the Gatepass request reaches the point from where it was returned.
After approval by the store in charge, the gate pass can be printed with details of dispatched assets/materials. The materials are taken to the gate for verification.
A security personnel at the exit point verifies the gate pass with the assets/materials to be dispatched. If he is satisfied, the process ends. Otherwise, he sends it back to the Store in charge.
In such a case the store in charge prints a new gate pass for the materials addressing the verifier’s queries. Finally, the materials are re-verified at the gate before dispatch. If it is an NRGP, the gate pass is closed.
By issuing passes with specific details such as date, time, and purpose, management can ensure that only authorized individuals are granted access to carry assets from the facility.
Everyone involved in the workflow can view the current status of the Gatepass from their mobile devices until it is closed. The time frame for gate pass approval at each stage and return of items is configurable. The stakeholders receive mobile and email alerts for various actions.
The Gate Pass system helps maintain organizational security, integrity, and authenticity. The workflow and the fields can be altered to suit specific business needs.
Permit To Work(PTW):
Our PTW low code solution automated the work permit process and regulated access to restricted areas per the client’s requirements.
A permit-to-work system controls work that is identified as potentially hazardous. It also governs the communication between installation management, plant supervisors, and operators.
It helps set authorization limits for various jobs, assess risks, define responsible persons for performing the required isolation(preventive measures)actions, manage work permits, etc., to ensure safe operations and increase accountability.


The solution mandates a general work permit as a basic requirement and additional possession of a specialized work permit for excavation tasks, electrical tasks dealing with high-tension wires, working at an elevation, etc.
The solution makes it easy to trace the person who gave clearance for the task in addition to the provision to review isolations already created and add any new ones, if necessary.
All Users will get Email and SMS alerts on various actions. Each permit issued through the application needs to be renewed daily until validity.


Root Cause Analysis
Root-cause analysis(RCA) is a low-code solution developed by Innomaint to systematically decompose a problem into its component elements to arrive at a solution.
It helps investigate an issue using proven techniques to gather the context of the problem, identify multiple causes, prioritize them, and come up with a practical and executable solution.

Innomaint has launched GenAI capabilities in its maintenance management solution to simplify the creation of standard operating procedures. Just create a schedule and tasks under the schedule.
